This tent served my wife and I very well we camped in it a total of 9-10 times in a year. It finally collapsed under a terrible rainstorm during which there was a tornado warning.

Set Up: This tent can be set up by one person once you get the system down. It isnt easy, but its doable. It seems that in the redesign they made it even easier.

Space: This is the largest modern tent I have seen. We set up with one room being storage and our entrance, one room for dressing and undressing, and our bedroom. The bed room had a queen size air mattress and two night stands. The Dressing room had our suitcases and several plastic drawer sets.

Breakdown: Breakdown was a little more difficult and time consuming. It has the same problem as all the modern tents. The chainlink poles going into that bag is a huge pain.

All in all I loved my tent and it is very likely that I am going to buy the new version. Ill edit this review with more information regarding the new design if I do.

Nice and big, but low quality, May 28, 2014

I bought mine from wall mart for under $300. It is big enough for me being 6’4″ to stand comfortably in it. I don’t believe I was hunched over or anything. I used a blow up queen size mattress inside one of the rooms and was pretty happy. If you push the mattress in the corner, you will have a couple of feet to walk to the next room in, but not to store luggage in. We used one room for me and my wife, one room for all of our luggage, and one room for kids.

It is easy enough to set up. It definitely takes longer than 2 min to set up with stakes and everything. One person can set it up themselves. I set mine up about 4 times before I decided to return it to Wal-Mart. The metal pins in the joints bent and broke. I set this tent up at my house in order to figure it out before I went camping, and I liked it, but when I set it up at the beach the winds were too strong, and I believe the first pin that bent and broke was my fault for setting it up in med-strong winds. The next time I set it up I had to duct tape that joint, but everything else worked. The Last time I set it up I noticed that other metal pins were braking, and the plastic housing for the pins had also began to crack.

    My overall review.

    * The tent is large so the wind hits it hard. It does not contain good enough quality parts in order to last. Maybe if you use extra lines to stake it in place to make it ‘solid’, and if you really baby this tent maybe you can make it last.

    Things about the tent.

    * The entire inside ceiling is completely and only mosquito netting. Only the fly tarp cover prevents rain from entering. Normally a tent does have a small mosquito netted portion near the peaks for ventilation purposes, but this thing is only netting on top inside. I feel that the netting is far too close to the edges of the tent. The wind would only have to blow the fly tarp a little in order to expose the non rain proof netting.

    * The 3 inside chambers are not removable like other tents they are built in and permanent. Also the doors to these 3 rooms do not unzip all the way to the ground. The unzipped door leaves about six inches of material on the floor that stands up, and I guarantee you will be tripping on it.

    * The front awning portion of the fly tarp is nice, except it channels a lot of wind up at the ceiling. The instruction do mention to drop this awning, and tie it down in strong winds.

    * I kept getting the zipper stuck in the door zipper cover. If you use two hands to zip the door it is not an issue, but normally I only had one hand available.

    * I found it difficult to put the tent back in the original contain, although I did do it 4 times. One of the packages zippers fell off the last time I put it back in the container

    * The floor is a very thin tarp material.
